Advair... In A Provocative Position

Slow day at work today and someone left their Advair diskus here. Naturally I decided to act like a five year old and crack her open to see how she works.

So if you ever wanted to see the innerds of an Advair Diskus... today is your lucky day.

For those of you who want to know how it dispenses each dosage, keep reading:
1. At the ten o'clock position (dark round shape), little blisters contains the dosage in the silver-colored coil. The medicine is sealed in the blisters by a smooth strip of plastic.
2. When you move the mechanism, the smooth strip is removed from one of the blisters to expose the powder. The newly-opened blister is positioned right where you inhale.
3. You can see empty blisters on the silver carrier being wrapped around the wheel at the three o'clock position.
4. Right now, I don't remember where the smooth plastic strip ends up (probably in the area at the seven o'clock position).

Oh well, but it is a neat design.
